Understanding Why We Need White People
We need white people. We need a lot of white people.
Specifically, we need a lot of white people to interrogate their white identity personal politic. They need to see what
class they are in, they need to consider if they are voting for or agains their own interest, they need to grapple with white not being an ethnicity and they need to boycott
corporate news outlets for 3-5 years.
We need white people reading books and discoursing.
We need white people applying their statements about other communities on their own community.
We need white people to understand they are underemployed.
We need white people to accept their community’s history of perpetuating violence upon
others.
We need white people to accept an alternative to white patriarchal capitalism
The reason socialism and the socialistic political worldview seems so violent to a white patriarchal capitalist is the violence needed to destroy the white identity politic that serves all systems of exploitation socialism seeks to reverse.
Without white people disowning the solidarity they have with oppression within their white idenity politic as an individual there is little chance for a meaningful revolution in the USA.
Dear white people, interrogate your white identity political worldview.
Dear half-white people, interrogate your white identity political worldview.
When people debate less there is less combative energy, the energy of discourse is one that seeks and thrives within mutuality, while debate thrives within domination.
Remember:
Debate requires domination.
Discourse requires dignity & respect.
